Are you an experienced Payroll Manager that is looking to be a part of a collaborative, values-driven organization where integrity, teamwork, and continuous growth aren’t just words, but how they operate, this may be just the role for you!  We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and support payroll operations across our growing organization This role is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration—and enjoys leading a team while navigating the complexity of a large, multi-state payroll.

What You Get to Do!  
•    Lead and support payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian team members across multiple entities, states, and provinces
•    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and provincial payroll regulations, including tax filings and remittances
•    Review and audit payroll runs to ensure accuracy in wages, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and timekeeping
•    Partner closely with HR, Accounting, and Operations to maintain clean, accurate data across systems (UKG Ready, Payworks, OnShift, Yardi)
•    Support onboarding and payroll system integration for new communities
•    Serve as a subject-matter expert for complex payroll questions, handling inquiries with discretion and professionalism
•    Prepare payroll reports and support reconciliations, audits, and year-end processes (W-2s, T4s, ROEs, and more)
•    Stay ahead of changes in U.S. and Canadian payroll legislation and communicate updates to the team
•    Coach, train, and mentor payroll specialists to ensure consistency and best practices

Job Experience

What You Will Bring…
•    2+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state and multi-province payroll
•    2+ years of payroll leadership or supervisory experience
•    Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll laws and reporting requirements
•    Experience with payroll platforms such as UKG Ready, Payworks, or similar systems
•    Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
•    Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
