MISSION AND CALLING OF THE PRESIDENT
The President of Kuyper College is both a professional leader and a spiritual steward. Reporting to the Board of Trustees as a non-voting member, the President provides executive leadership across the College’s academic, financial, spiritual, and institutional operations.
This is a role of influence and calling: the President inspires students, faculty, and staff to live out Kuyper’s mission, strengthens the College’s Reformed identity, and represents Kuyper to donors, churches, and community partners. Every decision is grounded in the College’s commitment to Christ-centered leadership, biblical truth, and service to God and neighbor.
LEADERSHIP AND INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The next President will:
- Lead with vision and faith: champion Kuyper’s mission and biblical Reformed worldview, nurturing the spiritual life of the community.
- Steward academic excellence: ensure all programs integrate biblical formation, rigorous scholarship, and practical experience.
- Advance community and partnerships: serve as Kuyper’s ambassador to donors, alumni, churches, and the broader higher education landscape.
- Provide financial leadership: guide strategic resource management and sustainable growth while aligning with mission priorities.
This role requires a leader who combines strategic thinking, relational skill, and outward-facing energy with a heart for serving God through higher education.
