A growing commercial janitorial services company is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and expand its commercial client portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth through customized facility service solutions. The Regional Sales Manager will develop strategic sales initiatives, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate closely with operations to ensure a seamless transition from contract award through service implementation. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow commercial janitorial and facility service accounts within the assigned region.
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, business owners, and other key decision-makers.
  • Conduct site visits and needs assessments to develop customized service solutions that meet client objectives and budgets.
  • Prepare professional proposals, pricing packages, and responses to RFPs while delivering compelling sales presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts, close new business, and consistently meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
  • Partner with operations and leadership to ensure successful client onboarding, service implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting while monitoring market trends and competitive activity.

Job Experience

  • Proven success in B2B sales, with experience in commercial cleaning, facility services, building maintenance, property management, or another service-based industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience preparing proposals, pricing, and responding to RFPs.
  • Ability to conduct engaging presentations and communicate value to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess client needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
