Job Full Description:
A growing company in West Michigan is seeking a Purchasing Support Specialist to provide administrative and customer support within a fast-paced office environment. This role handles customer inquiries, processes orders, assists with purchasing and shipping coordination, and maintains accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys supporting multiple departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Answer phones, greet walk-in customers, and provide professional front-line support.

Process customer inquiries, orders, and invoices accurately and efficiently.

Create and manage UPS and freight shipments, packaging, and related documentation.

Maintain purchasing and inventory records; communicate restock needs.

Support filing, scanning, and data entry for purchasing and billing activities.

Assist with deposits, credit card payments, and special projects as needed.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Job Experience

2+ years of administrative, purchasing, or clerical experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).

Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail with a proactive, dependable work style.

Experience with accounting or purchasing systems preferred.
Job Education
Some college required; Associate degree preferred.
