Job Full Description:

A growing supplier of laminates and cabinetry is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to drive business development and expand relationships with commercial customers. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and serving as a trusted resource for clients in the furniture, construction, cabinetry, and millwork industries. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with industry experience and a proven ability to build long-term partnerships while achieving sales goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing national accounts.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and ongoing account support.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and communicate product solutions effectively.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and related documentation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and other industry events. 

Schedule:

  • 8am-5pm M-F, Full-time 

Job Experience

  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably within high-pressure laminates, architectural products, cabinetry, millwork, contract furnishings, or a related industry. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with rare but occasional overnights 

Job Education

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience.
