Job Full Description:
A faith-based non-profit organization in West Michigan is seeking a creative and detail-oriented part-time Marketing Specialist to support its marketing and communications efforts. This organization strives to love neighbors by providing food and clothing, spread hope by treating all with dignity and compassion, and assist partner ministries in serving their communities. The Marketing Specialist will manage digital marketing initiatives, maintain brand consistency, and support campaigns that engage the community and donors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
- Draft, schedule, and post content for social media, email newsletters, and website updates.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure consistent messaging and support organizational goals.
- Conduct market research and compile reports from similar organizations’ activity, donor engagement, and campaign performance.
- Organize marketing assets and ensure branding consistency across all materials.
- Track key marketing metrics and assist in reporting campaign effectiveness.
- Support the development team by designing print materials and collateral used for fundraising and donor communication.
- Participate in community outreach activities for raising awareness and supporting growth of the organization.
Schedule: Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
Job Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Strong digital marketing skills, including social media management, CMS platforms, and email marketing tools.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and experience using web analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience communicating with donors and supporting fundraising campaigns preferred.
- Alignment with the organization’s faith-based mission and values.
Job Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
