A growing automotive manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations while ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment and facility systems. This role oversees a team of maintenance and facilities personnel while actively participating in equipment troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and fostering a safe, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance and facilities team while promoting accountability and teamwork.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, including scheduling work assignments and prioritizing repairs.
  • Perform and supervise troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Monitor equipment performance, maintain maintenance records, and manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, contractors, and vendors.

Schedule:

  • Full-time; flexibility required to support manufacturing operations, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Job Experience

  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting production equipment and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical maintenance duties, including lifting up to 35 pounds.

Job Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, vocational training, or an associate degree in a related field preferred.
