Job Full Description:

A local manufacturing company is seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to support its industrial and operational teams. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership, delivering comprehensive HR guidance across employee relations, compliance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment while aligning HR strategies with operational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer HR policies, procedures, programs, and work rules to support positive employee relations
  • Partner with department leaders to address and resolve employee relations matters
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement training, development plans, and career pathways
  • Coordinate and support employee training initiatives
  • Build partnerships with educational programs, technical schools, and community organizations to support talent pipelines
  • Lead and support HR initiatives related to performance management, compensation, and benefits
  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities (events, recognition programs, etc.)
  • Prepare and manage employee documentation
  • Track, analyze, and distribute KPI and HR metrics data
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture
  • Support and promote health, safety, and environmental policies and practices
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with production and staffing needs
  • Support organizational changes, restructuring efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:

  • Full-time schedule, 8:30am-5pm M-F Onsite 

Job Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist and/or management role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Professional certifications such as PHR or SPHR are preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, graphs, and charts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
