Job Full Description:

A manufacturing organization in Wyoming, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Sales & Project Coordinator to support sales operations, new business development, and customer project execution. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Customers to ensure quotes, engineering changes, samples, and customer requests are managed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support sales processes and project organization for new and existing business
  • Create and assist with Requests for Quotes (RFQs), including gathering materials, dimensions, quantities, packaging, and shipping details
  • Enter RFQ data into appropriate systems and formats for pricing review
  • Oversee Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) from initiation through completion
  • Track and coordinate the progress of RFQs and ECNs across Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Shipping, and Pricing
  • Facilitate meetings as needed to ensure action items are completed accurately and on time
  • Submit sample requests and monitor the full sample process through delivery
  • Assist with sample coordination, tracking, and delivery to customers
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external sales meetings, customer visits, and follow-ups
  • Support the transfer of parts and documentation between company facilities
  • Assist with customer communication and requests as needed
  • Organize and support marketing efforts including trade shows, company events, and sales milestones
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support sales and business development initiatives

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 

Job Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, sales administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints and schematics

Job Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
