Job Full Description:

A manufacturing company in West Michigan is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and benefits, while maintaining compliance and ensuring a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills in both Spanish and English and a proactive approach to supporting both leadership and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personnel and training files, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Support recruitment efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding.

  • Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and HR system management (Paycor).

  • Coordinate and participate in company events and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Provide guidance to employees on company policies and benefits.

  • Support safety initiatives and assist with HR-related special projects.

Schedule: Full-time, M-F 8am-5pm 

Job Experience

  • 2+ years of HR or administrative experience.

  • Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, COBRA) and HR best practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (Paycor experience preferred).

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills in both Spanish and English.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.

Job Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
