Job Full Description:

A leading building products organization is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Architectural Sales Representative to drive business development and product specification across Michigan. This role is responsible for building partnerships with architects and designers, providing product expertise, and managing projects through the sales cycle to secure and close opportunities. The Architectural Sales Representative serves as a trusted resource to customers, ensuring a high-quality experience from initial engagement through project completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers
  • Present product solutions through demonstrations and AIA-accredited presentations
  • Drive proprietary specifications to secure project opportunities
  • Manage project pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and communication throughout the sales cycle
  • Partner with internal teams to support project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and industry engagement
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and track sales activity
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals

Job Experience

  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn technical products and construction-related concepts
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Construction or building products experience is a plus
