The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Tax Manager for a leading full-service CPA firm. Positions available in Batesville, Columbus, Greensburg, and Indianapolis Indiana offices.
The successful candidate should thrive at delivering excellent client service and have a strong business acumen and proven leadership capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs oversight of the day-to-day tax and advisory services while working as a business liaison with clients
- Oversees tax engagements through reviewing client data, understanding legislative updates and preparing/reviewing client tax returns.
- Support the Firm's goals and values through all professional communications and strong working relationships
- Responsible for supervising and training less experienced Staff or Senior Accountants, as well as function as a mentor to entry level Staff and/or Accountants on an informal basis

Job Experience
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years accounting supervisory/managerial experience.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
- Computer savvy; embrace and learn new technology with ease
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA Certification preferred, but not required
- 5+ years’ experience of public accounting experience
- Tax return review (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
- QuickBooks expertise
- Experience with CCH products preferred but not required
Job Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field
