Location: Greater Indianapolis area
A growing law firm is seeking an attorney with 0–6 years of experience who is interested in building a litigation career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role will focus primarily on litigation involving automobile-related tort claims, with opportunities to expand into complex product liability and warranty matters over time. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, committed to excellence, and driven to perform at a high level each day. Key Responsibilities
- Review investigative materials and insurance claim documentation; prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
- Manage and negotiate insurance-related claims to resolution with claim representatives and opposing counsel.
- Communicate with responsible parties to establish and monitor repayment arrangements on uninsured claims.
- Attend hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, inspections, and evidentiary examinations throughout the state.
- Maintain regular communication with client representatives, courts, opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and other stakeholders by phone and in person.
- Negotiate case resolutions and facilitate discussions among attorneys, claim professionals, and other involved parties.
- Conduct legal and factual research and prepare memoranda and reports as needed.
- Analyze cases, identify effective strategies, and provide recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate case records and update electronic case management systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with and provide direction to paralegals and administrative support staff.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and court-imposed schedules.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Salary:
- Base salary $95,000 + bonus

- Hybrid work schedule once trained with 2 days a week in the office

- Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana
- Demonstrated interest in developing a successful litigation career within a fast-paced environment that includes regular court appearances.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed and appear before courts throughout the state.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including the capacity to independently manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in a team-oriented setting.
- Proficiency with legal technology and other software tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Prior moot court, trial advocacy, clerkship, or other litigation-related experience is preferred, but not required.
