Gordon Hieb

Managing Director

Gordon started as an executive recruiter for the Specialized Recruiting Group in 2019 focusing on accounting and finance. Since 2020 he has been the Managing Director for the SRG team based out of Champaign, Illinois. While still recruiting and placing qualified candidates, he also leads a team of dedicated Executive Recruiters focused on finding highly qualified candidates and placing them in fulfilling jobs. The past four years his team has consistently been a top performing SRG office, currently sitting at #3 across the company for combined direct hire and contract.

Originally from Sedro Woolley, Washington, Gordon served a distinguished 30-year career in the Marine Corps before joining our team. He attained his bachelor's degree from Liberty University with a focus on Business Administration, Human Resources and Life Coaching. His favorite part about working at SRG is assisting those highly qualified professionals in the community find lucrative career opportunities.

Andrew Yeager

Executive Recruiter

Andrew joined the Specialized Recruiting Group in 2024 and has spent the past two years connecting talented professionals with rewarding career opportunities. As an Executive Recruiter, he partners with clients and candidates to build strong professional relationships and create successful long-term placements.

Matt Rockwell

Executive Recruiter

Matt joined the Specialized Recruiting Group in May of 2026 as an Executive Recruiter, bringing over 14 years of combined experience in Staffing, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources, with a focus on Manufacturing Operations Leadership and Engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked on both the company and staffing sides of the table, developing a well-rounded understanding of the challenges faced by both employers and candidates alike.

Prior to joining SRG, Matt served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where he defined and developed policies that were adopted as standard practice across multiple company locations in North America. He has significant experience leading full-cycle recruiting efforts, building hiring processes, developing early-career development programs, and partnering with business leaders to define long-term workforce strategies.

Matt is a United States Navy veteran who served for seven years forward deployed to Japan. His favorite part about working with SRG is partnering with Employers of choice and top-tier candidates to cultivate lasting partnerships, all while ensuring a white-glove experience that keeps SRG a cut above the rest.

Jake is an Executive Recruiter with 7 years of experience specializing in leadership and operational-level recruiting across the telecom, engineering, finance, manufacturing, and logistics industries. Throughout his career, he has partnered with companies to identify and place high-impact professionals.

Based in the Champaign-Urbana area, Jake is known for building strong relationships with both clients and candidates while delivering talent solutions in fast-paced and highly competitive markets.
