Job Full Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's growing team. This role involves managing the books for at least 19 entities, ranging from small businesses to larger operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of juggling multiple priorities, and experienced in QuickBooks. Experience with Job Accounting Pro is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for 19+ entities
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks for small entities
- Utilize Job Accounting Pro for larger entities (training available if needed)
- Conduct monthly bank and loan reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable
- Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and filing
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Familiarity with Job Accounting Pro is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
