Job Full Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Supervisor to join our client's team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The QA Supervisor will oversee daily quality assurance operations, supervise a team of three QA Technicians, and support the QA Manager in maintaining and improving food safety and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and mentor QA Technicians to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist the QA Manager in implementing and maintaining food safety and quality programs.
• Facilitate and lead food safety and quality-related training events (minimum 3 years of experience required).
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, USDA, and/or FDA regulations.
• Monitor and verify QA/QC procedures, including sanitation, product inspections, and documentation.
• Participate in internal and external audits and assist in corrective action implementation.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality and food safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in facilities regulated by HACCP, USDA, and/or FDA.
  • Proven track record of facilitating food safety/quality training events.
• Certifications:
  • HACCP Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized and accredited organization (required).

Preferred Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
