Job Full Description:
Our client is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations across production, shipping, receiving, and logistics. This role is critical in ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely, while also supporting cross-functional collaboration with team leads and other departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production supervision, with experience in logistics and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and delivery standards.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with team leads to assess production needs, allocate resources, and resolve issues.
- Step in to support production teams as needed to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, shipping logs, and material usage.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics operations preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work across departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
