Job Full Description:

We are seeking a proven Outside Sales Representative to grow our client's business through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a motivated hunter who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business—no existing book of business is provided.

The ideal candidate has strong B2B commercial sales experience, an IT industry background, and the ability to manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close while collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-value solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings to identify customer needs and uncover new opportunities
  • Build, manage, and grow a defined sales territory through consistent new business development
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upsell opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal sales teams and cross-functional departments to deliver solutions and close business
  • Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals
  • Accurately manage all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date CRM records and ensure invoices are submitted and paid in a timely manner
  • Submit regular sales activity reports and expense reports in accordance with company policies

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of B2B commercial outside sales experience
  • IT industry background required
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Demonstrated success as a hunter with a consistent history of new business development
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while owning individual results
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for territory coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into the K–12 or education sector is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
    • (Degree not required if a strong, verifiable track record of B2B outside sales success is demonstrated)
