Our client, a local credit union, is dedicated to providing exceptional mortgage lending services. Key Responsibilities:
- Originate long-term mortgage loans, including lot, construction, and home equity loans.
- Conduct initial pre-qualification interviews with potential clients.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage lending products, policies, and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.
Qualifications:
- One to five years of related mortgage lending origination experience with a mortgage lender, bank, or credit union.
- Real estate background is preferred but not required.
- A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan products and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
