Job Full Description:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Field Technician to provide on-site and remote desktop support across our client's East Texas locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service.
You’ll be responsible for resolving technical issues related to desktops, laptops, Windows operating systems, and basic networking. Travel is required to various sites, but typically no more than an hour from the central office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on desktop support including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems.
- Respond quickly to service requests and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Travel to various East Texas locations to support end users and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear solutions.
- Take direction and coaching from senior IT staff and management.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting and peripheral setup.
