We are seeking an experienced Garden Manager to support one of our clients in the landscape maintenance industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, excels at building client relationships, and is passionate about landscape health and property aesthetics. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-end clients across East Texas, ensuring exceptional service delivery, contract performance, and ongoing revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the trusted, high-touch liaison for client properties across East Texas.
  • Drive client satisfaction and long-term retention through proactive communication, on-site visits, and responsive problem solving.
  • Provide regular property walk-throughs, photo documentation, and personalized recommendations.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure maintenance contracts are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager to support and indirectly supervise 5 crew members.
  • Monitor landscape conditions and seasonal needs; schedule tasks in alignment with annual maintenance cycles.
  • Oversee site-specific issues including irrigation, plant health, and enhancements.

Horticulture & Plant Health

  • Assess and diagnose plant health concerns specific to the East Texas region (soil conditions, pests, diseases, climate challenges).
  • Recommend corrective actions, replacements, or upgrades to maintain premium landscape appearance.

Growth & Revenue Development

  • Identify enhancement opportunities that improve property aesthetics and functionality.
  • Contribute to increases in enhancement revenue and recurring revenue through consultative selling.

Field Work & Property Conditions

  • Travel frequently between client properties throughout the East Texas service area.
  • Walk and inspect large properties (some 1+ acre).
  • Work comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Perform duties requiring occasional climbing, bending, or kneeling during inspections.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance management or a closely related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Landscape management practices
    • Seasonal maintenance cycles
    • Irrigation system functionality
  • Horticultural expertise with a focus on East Texas plant species and environments.
  • Experience delivering customer service to high-end clientele strongly preferred.
  • Tech proficiency:
    • Aspire or similar landscape management software
    • Email, photo documentation, Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and sales abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crews and management.
