Job Full Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our client's organization. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping who is ready to take ownership of financial processes including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, payroll, and more. Experience with Sage accounting software is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with external accountants for audits and tax filings.
- Use Sage software for all accounting functions.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
