Job Full Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Facilities Director to lead our client's facilities operations across multiple campuses. This role oversees a team of approximately 30 staff members across maintenance, housekeeping, and event setups, ensuring all facilities are safe, clean, and fully functional. The ideal candidate is a strategic planner, a skilled delegator, and a bilingual communicator (Spanish/English) who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage facilities operations across multiple campuses.
- Supervise and support team leads in maintenance, housekeeping, and setups.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and operational plans.
- Coordinate facility support for events, ensuring timely and efficient setups.
- Manage and optimize staffing schedules and resource allocation.
- Maintain a master calendar for facilities activities, events, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- Monitor budgets and control costs related to facilities operations.
- Provide bilingual support and leadership to Spanish-speaking staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities management or operations leadership.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to delegate effectively and manage through team leads.
- Experience managing multiple sites or campuses is a plus.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and facilities management software.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in event coordination or logistics.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance protocols.
