Our client is a leading manufacturing organization and is looking to add a hands-on Engineering Technician to their team. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys working with equipment, supporting production, and collaborating closely with engineers and operators.

Position Overview

The Engineering Technician will support engineering and production teams by maintaining equipment, assisting with installations, and ensuring processes run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, understands engineering terminology, and is comfortable working in an ISO 13485–regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Support

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, tooling, and fixtures under engineering supervision
  • Assist with equipment disassembly, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Identify machine components such as motors, belts, and mechanical assemblies
  • Promptly identify, document, and report equipment issues to engineering and maintenance teams

Production & Engineering Support

  • Support daily production processes and assist operators with standard operating procedures
  • Help with equipment installation, setup, and validation activities
  • Work cooperatively with engineers, technicians, and production team members to resolve issues

Documentation & Quality Compliance

  • Accurately document maintenance activities, test results, and repairs
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality System requirements
  • Maintain compliance within an ISO 13485 regulated environment
  • Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company policies at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Mechanical Skills

  • Understanding of engineering terminology and manufacturing processes
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills, including disassembly/assembly and troubleshooting
  • Ability to identify and work with mechanical and electromechanical components

Computer & Technical Tools

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with CAD toolsSolidWorks experience is a plus
  • Comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting techniques
