Job Full Description:
Our client is a respected business looking to identify a detail-oriented Designer to support technical design and drafting work in a fast-paced, computer-intensive environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with design software and technical specifications.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and modify design layouts using CAD and design software
- Enter and manage data with a high degree of accuracy
- Read, interpret, and apply design codes, standards, and specifications
- Analyze design requirements and solve technical problems efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate design updates clearly
- Learn and work within proprietary client software systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with CAD and design tools
- O-Calc and SPIDA Calc experience strongly preferred
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn proprietary client software
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Background in technical, drafting, or design-related roles
- Experience in computer-intensive or highly detailed work environments
