Job Full Description:
Our client (in the waste management industry) is looking to add a CFO to their team. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, audit analytics, and driving ROI across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with a strong personality, analytical mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis across all departments.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Oversee cash flow, ensuring the company remains cash-sensitive and financially agile.
- Conduct audit analytics and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Evaluate ROI on key initiatives and provide actionable insights to drive profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategy.
- Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.
Qualifications:
- Proven CFO experience, preferably in multi-industry or operationally complex environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Strong background in financial analytics, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Deep understanding of cash flow management and capital allocation.
- Experience in the waste management or industrial services sector is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Driven, team-oriented, and capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
