Job Full Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team and play a critical role in maintaining a smooth and efficient supply chain. This position requires a proactive professional who can balance cost, quality, and timely delivery while fostering strong vendor and internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill operational purchasing requirements, ensuring consistency in the supply chain.
- Review scope of work, issued BOMs, and acknowledgments to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies between ordered and billed materials.
- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Foster productive working relationships within the purchasing department and across other internal teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience required.
- Prior experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture beyond immediate tasks.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
