Job Full Description:
Our client, a growing organization in need of strong financial leadership, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee monthly close activities, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity. This role is ideal for an analytically minded accounting professional who can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-accounting leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process to ensure timely, accurate financial results.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong focus on non-cash accounts.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers.
- Communicate financial results to non-accounting stakeholders, translating complex data into business-friendly insights.
- Partner cross-departmentally to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all financial processes.
- Drive process improvements that strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
- Ensure clean, audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations and high-quality financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Financial reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliation (especially non-cash accounts)
- Proven ability to communicate financial concepts to non-accounting leaders.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and build strong partnerships.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Healthcare industry experience.
- CPA or CMA (not required).
