Our client, a reputable and steadily growing public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced CPA to take on a key role in tax review and ongoing client consulting. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys the variety and challenge of public accounting.
As the recruiting partner, we’re focused on finding a candidate who is detail-oriented, confident reviewing complex business returns, and comfortable collaborating directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality.
- Provide ongoing tax consulting to clients throughout the year—answering questions, offering guidance, and identifying planning opportunities.
- Interact directly with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with internal staff to support workflow, answer technical questions, and maintain deadlines during peak season.
- Utilize QuickBooks, Lacerte, and Excel to support tax preparation, review, and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA license (required).
- 3–5 years of experience working in a public accounting firm.
- Strong background in:
- Business tax
- Corporate tax
- Tax review in a public accounting setting
- Proficiency with:
- QuickBooks
- Lacerte
- Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey tax matters clearly to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize effectively.
