Job Full Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle AP, including processing trade and project invoices, coding credit card transactions, and vendor setup
• Manage progress and contract billings, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
• Work closely with other department heads to incorporate accurate cost tracking
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to project costs and accounts payable
• Perform weekly check runs and process miscellaneous payments as needed
• Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and job cost allocations
• Monitor and respond to vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding billing and payments

Job Experience

• 4+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, particularly with AP and project billings
• Construction accounting/project accounting experience required (must be from the general contractor or subcontractor side, not the owner/developer side)
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred
• Experience with construction accounting software (ViewPoint Vista or Textura a plus).

Job Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
